As much as I love the daffodils, and other spring-time flowers, they raise havoc on my sinuses. I should just enjoy them from afar!
I sure hope you all are staying well. But, they (and who the heck is 'they' anyway?) say we are going to have a rough spell of sickness this spring. If it isn't one thing it's another.
I hated jumping on the scales this morning. But, I do it anyway! Misery loves company and I make me, myself and I rather miserable looking at the numbers. I cut way back on my eating habits a long time ago but it doesn't seem to matter. I guess that's what I get for getting old enough so that I am not able to work off what I eat!!
I know the birds are '
Actually, we had sleet. This picture was taken the last snow fall.
Gotta run. Love to my blog buddies,
Oh, I am SOOOO sorry you got sick. You could feel it coming on, and hoped it stayed away. Did you postpone your trip? Hope you get better soon, Mom!
ReplyDeletei hope you had the type of tissues that have lotion in them ... i know it does not make it totally better ... but it makes it a bit more smooth. ( :
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you got sick! Nothing is growing here, yet! Still too cold, and that is a bit unusual for us.
ReplyDeleteI'm dreading everything blooming out in the spring - they upset my hubby's allergies. But, what can we do? Hope you're better soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon, sorry for people with allergies with Spring almost here.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you're feeling poorly. Hate those darned colds. Maaybe with all the cold weather this year, the bugs got killed off, so it won't be too bad.
ReplyDeleteThere are dozens of clumps of spring bulbs popping up in the yard of this house. Most of them were a small lily-of-the-valley type of flower we always called "checkers" back home. Mostly leaves, with a few flowers. Later will be some daffodils here and there too, but none for now. My two rose bushes are throwing out new shoots. Hope the snows are finished for awhile. So need a little Springtime lift. Take care, Latane.
Love to you, too, Latane. I am sorry to hear you have been feeling down a bit. Hope you will feel better soon! Maybe you should stay away from the daffodils. There is still snow here and back in the 20's all next week! UG!
ReplyDeleteYou take care now. I will be adding you to my prayer list.
No wonder you don't like the numbers, you had three people on your scale! Divide by three and then you'll be all set! Sorry to hear the pollen got to you. Hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteHope you will be feeling better soon, Latane. We don't have anything blooming yet to bother Grenville's allergies (thankfully) but I know the pine pollen will be on its way soon and I could do without that and the yellow dusting it leaves over everything. And I agree that the numbers on the scale just lie!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you were sick! Hope the weather gets nice and you get some sunshine.
