Yesterday I was at the Suffolk Art Museum viewing the quilts on exhibit there. The trip provided a wonderful opportunity for me to take a picture of a house nearby that I have absolutely been pea-green with envy over.
It's so elegant, Southern, Gone With The Windish. And, they have the most interesting fence in front. Very short so as to not block the view of passersby
but just take a gander at the entry!! It makes such a STATEMENT!!
I am linking with Good Fences today. Why don't you take a look at Theresa's meme. You'll like it, I bet.
VERY grand! thanks, latane!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Mom! The entrance is grand, and the fence short enough not to interfere with that super grand house! Wow, it is just so beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are quite high pillars to this entrance.
ReplyDeleteoh wow, that is beautiful! i'm pea green now too! :)
ReplyDeleteThat fence is meant to stand the test of time! I hope you were allowed to take pictures of the quilts!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah it does remind me of, GWTW (which I love by the way). Awesome looking home and the entryway is wonderful. Brick work is really neat.
ReplyDeleteNow I've seen a thousand fences (it seems like--ha) today on blogs --and yours is the BEST of all... WOW--what a place. Love that "Gone with the Windish" place. Gorgeous.
