This was 2014

Well, talk about having a 'fried brain'. I do think mine is.. Perhaps it's just a fallout from all the hullabalu of Christmas.

I've looked at this blog every single day this week and thought....

"I need to post something new"

and my brain just sat there, smoking away until it burned plumb out. No new post.

As you can tell I am not much better this morning..
                   But, I am typing......
                                               Something......

I wrote a sort of synopsis of my 2014 on the last page of my journal that I keep,. It was a wide ride for sure. So, I guess that is where my brain is going...

In January I celebrated my 80th birthday

In April I moved into my new apartment

In May I went to the beach with family

In July Shirley and I made a trip to Alabama

In August Shirley and I took a trip to Dover, Delaware to the casinos for some fun.

and Susan and grandson, Tighe, visited from New York.

In Sept. Leslie and I took the Jamestown Ferry over to Williamsburg.

October brought about the annual scrapbooking beach crop in Corolla, N. C.

and a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
and.....
in November my book got published.

In December, Christmas was the focus...

.. that was 2014

I can't wait to see what 2015 brings.

You all stayed tuned, okay? Sure hope your New Year is happy all year long.
