New Year's Friday Five

Cheers....

How you all feeling after a rousting celebration bringing in the New Year?

                                              Me?
                                                 Same old, same old.
Slept right through it. And, it got here just fine without me!

Today it is time for Willy Nilly Friday Five with Tanya. Thank you so much, Tanya, for hosting this great meme.

1. I loved having my son and his little dog visit during Christmas. I don't get to see him often enough.

2. Glad Christmas is over. I am now busy getting my regular routine back in place.

3. I have lots of exciting things to share with all of you in the coming months. I can't wait! But, shhhh, not yet.

4. I love SEC college football. My eyes are about crossed I have watched so many bowl games. The big one on Jan. 11 for the championship I certainly won't miss. Hey, how about you all rooting for Alabama. That's My Favorite Team.

5. I also love doing the My Town Shoot Out meme on Friday but could not figure out exactly what was meant by "finding a color combo for the First of the Year". I'll try again next week when my brain is in better working order.

My wishes are for all of you to have a very prosperous and happy New Year.

Okay, so I jumped the gun a bit and posted this before you celebrated. Sorry. Just couldn't wait.

  7. Some great shares, Mom! I posted mine last night too....not sure where Tanya and Amy are this morning. Sleeping in after a little too much celebrating? :-) I got my new phone and it is all set up again now. Looking at all the organizing I need to be doing, but have to finish these placemats and then the bed jacket before I can do much else. I sewed so much yesterday I was cross-eyed! :-)

  9. Happy New Year, Latane. I was reading about your plan on meditating in the new year. I think that's a wonderful idea, and prayer gets me through tough times. It is something I do daily.

Wishing you peace and joy in the days ahead.

    1. oh by the way, that was my son in those pictures, not grandson. He is a young man now, but those are just some pics of when he was little. :) He still makes me laugh.
