A Winter Wonderland

It's a winter wonderland out there, folks. I am loving it, 'cause I don't have to get out in it. I feel so for those who do or the homeless who are caught in this horrible cold. God bless them.

I don't know, but there is something magical about snow.
You either love it or hate it!

First of all, I want to share some things (graphics and poems) that are not mine. But, they fit very well.

Like I said, these first two are not my pictures. I am not going to be getting out and building a snowman today or any day. But, isn't he grand!! I love him.

And, now for a picture from MY snow.

That is the first sight I had this morning when I awoke however it has snowed for hours since.

Be sure to check back in tomorrow as I plan on posting a bunch of snow stuff for some memes.
You don't want to miss that!

  1. I wouldn't say I love snow but it has just been an accepted part of life and I do enjoy it's unique beauty.

  2. Wow! Awesome snowfall Mom! Enjoy it...but stay home till they've had time to clear the roads. It may not be for a week. Hope you have everything you need for an emergency. Can't wait to see more pictures!

  3. We got only a dusting here but to the east the snow totals were much greater. Ocean City, MD got 11 in I heard. We lucked out with this one.

  4. Good for you, Latane, in admitting that you also like snow as do I and like you do NOT have to out to shovel anything -- no walkways, driveways, vehicles. There is real joy in apt living when winter arrives!

  5. Oh I do appreciate a good snowman! What snow we are getting is not sticky so no good for building anything. Looks as if you are getting a fair amount of snow.

  6. I don't mind the snow, now that I don't have to go out in it. Always so much more fun when the children are around.

  7. I like the poem. Some small thing can truly change one's attitude. That is one great snowman! Nice to have the view, and not have to be out in it! My husband was blessed when the neighbor boys came and offered to clear the driveway.
