Today for Saturday Critters, Camera Critters and I'd Rather B Birdin'. It a bunch of seagulls!!
These were taken on the Outerbanks, North Carolina and on the Eastern Shore, Virginia. Most gulls look alike to me so I have no idea which is what. Maybe you know. But, to me, a gull is a gull. (grin)
Hello, yes most gulls look alike. But, the last one is definitely a Laughing Gull. Great collection of photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of all the gulls, Mom! Yes, your mind is on the beach :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots...I love the water in that first photo. Oh to be on the beach! :)
ReplyDeleteNice to see the gulls - the last one is so striking. Hope it is warming up there!
ReplyDeleteOh it would be lovely to be there now on warm sunshine & hearing those gulls make a racket!
ReplyDeleteI miss the seagulls and the water. My siblings and I take a trip every February and this year we are going to Galveston. Nita wants all four of us to ride the giant Ferris wheel on the pier! I’m so looking forward this annual getaway together!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gulls. I'm not good at identifying them since they are not in my area but I appreciate your pics.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Gulls!

We see lots of gulls around here but I've never spotted one like that last one. Very smart looking.... for a gull.
ReplyDeleteNice gull photos!
ReplyDeleteHello!:) Great shots of all the gulls. They are birds with lots of character, even though they do look very similar.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I want to convey my thanks to you for sharing this post with all of us birders from I'd Rather B Birdin' this week!!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent images of the gulls. I know only about three gulls from just sighting them...but I must agree, a gull is a gull.
And, I want to convey my thanks to you for sharing this post with all of us birders from I'd Rather B Birdin' this week!!!
The first one is either a Greater or Lesser Black Backed Gull, the grey ones are Herring Gulls and the last on is a Black Headed Gull. I love Gulls always like to hear them calling on roof tops by the sea. Great captures!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. Gulls are gulls. :) Beautiful shots. Makes me wish for a trip to the beach.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your photos of the gulls (I'm guilty of calling them all seagulls even though I know that's not correct. We even have gulls here and we're a long way from any sea here). Wonderful shots. The sand and water look very inviting as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the gulls - nice to see.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
What a lovely theme!
