Bellingrath Gardens

I am so blog post challenged this morning. I know you all are tired of looking at my random five Friday things and I just couldn't come up with anything to post today. Then on my It's A New Day, A New Life blog Sandy commented on my latest post (a snippet from chapter 2 of the book I am writing) and she said I should check out Memory Monday.

Well, Memories are such a precious commodity and so I decided I'd join in. Perhaps you would like to as well. It's at
so click Memory Monday

The memory I am featuring this morning is
A Trip To Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile, Alabama

This trip happened in the 1970s when my husband was in that area attending a conference. I remember the flowers were unbelievable beautiful and I wasn't even there during the azalea blossom time.

I hope your day is filled with wonderful memories,

  1. The gardens must have been gorgous! I am often 'blog challenged' but love it all anyway. There's something about being able to post and see it in front of you. LIke Martha Stewart says....'its a good thing'....lol. Enjoy your beautiful day Latane....and thank you for the nice comment about my tatting. You know how it goes...you don't do something for a couple of years or so...and all of a sudden, find yourself happily enjoying it once again. Amazing....

  7. I haven't been there in many years, but I remember it being beautiful there. I also remember taking my shoes off and walking barefoot part of the time. The house was interesting, too! Nice memory!

You have such talents in decorating and camera skills, and I can't wait to see what you post next. I'm your newest fan. Can't wait to see your coming postings. ---Karen
